    BIO

    Joseph Teplitz is an avid photographer. His commercial
    photography work includes: commercial and residential
    interiors, photographing large artistic endeavours, and
    portraiture.  He also sells his photos on the web and through
    other displays.

    For his primary "day job", he is a Managing Partner at Gartner,
    where he is responsible for delivery of IT-related consulting
    services to large financial instutions.  

    In addition, Joe is vice chairman of the Board of the Mountain
    Institute, and is a member of the Explorers Club. and the
    American Alpine Club.  Many of the images on this web site
    were made on travel associated with these roles and affiliations.

  • Canon FTBn (a 35 year-old, bulletproof all manual film camera for long trips to places without electricity)
  • Hasselblad 500c, 80mm f/2.8
  • Casio EX-P700 - 7 megapixel point and shoot camera with a 4x optical zoom for times when large cameras can't be carried
  • Numerous Canon FD and Nikon AF lenses of widely varying age and complexity (favorites: Tamaron 28-200 for the
    Canon, and Nikkor 70-200 f/2.8 VR)
